Serve God with Spiritual Gifts
4For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. —Romans 12:4-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
Worship
The Worship Ministry exists to glorify God through prayer, praise, worship, instrumental music, songs, hymns, audio and visual production and performing arts—serving skillfully, with discipline and humility, leading our congregation and creating an environment of worship. (“Sing to Him a new song, play skillfully, and shout for joy.” Ps.33:3)
Nurture
The Nurture Ministry aims to encourage the spiritual growth and social development of every believer. It is composed of the Women’s Ministry (WMU), Men’s Ministry (Baptist Men), Youth and Children’s Ministry. It is responsible for activities related to church fellowship, anniversary, retreat, meetings and Sunday School/DVBS.
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Mission and Evangelism
The Mission and Evangelism Ministry handles the church growth programs related to winning souls for Christ. It is in-charge of identifying, monitoring, and evaluating new areas for evangelism and church planting. It looks into the welfare of pastors and workers in the mission field and makes proper recommendations to the church.
Service
The Service Ministry provides assistance in preparation of the physical improvement as well as maintenance of the church building and grounds. It is responsible for church benevolent and social action activities such as solicitation of relief, aids, or donations from members. It coordinates with other churches, relief agencies and organizations.
